Tomorrow's Solutions  --  Today

Technology & Services, Inc., approaches the 21st Century after a decade of serving our Customers needs for intelligent and cost effective industrial automation solutions.  What follows are a few thoughts that explain our posture in the market  -- and the kind of work results we expect to deliver in the future.

We excel as an automation integrator.  This is much more than just selecting devices and pasting them in place.  The key word is “integration”, a term often misapplied in our industry.  We see the real meaning as:

Integration:  to locate, develop, design and deploy appropriate technology in a way that considers:

·                    the immediate need

·                    the automation “climate” at the site

·                    the human - technology interactions

·                    the plans for future automation at the site.

Results contribute immediately to the bottom line, have a high acceptance by the workforce and are open and maintainable through local resources.

What We Do:

We are generalists in a field flooded with specialists.  Too often, other "integrators" disregard specific needs of a Customer in an attempt to make their unique circumstances squeeze into a mold built for someone else.  Vendors are often locked in to a particular product line, like a military commander trying to solve every problem with a frontal assault.  What seems bold is often a dangerous & costly tactic.

Our approach is customized for each challenge.  We get in the trenches, talk to the operators & understand their world.  We work closely with the maintenance folks.  We check with buyers to see what technology is already on the shelf or being considered.  When we integrate new techniques & innovations into the workplace, we make sure that the changes make jobs easier and more rewarding.  We help facilitate the installation & implementation so everybody knows what is going to happen, when & why.

Another aspect of our work is as a finisher.  This may seem like a small thing, but it is the difference between a house and a home.  We finish our jobs.  We take the time to work with the operators, find small annoyances and barriers to efficiency & effectiveness  --  and we correct them.  As we see it, this is all part of a successful integration.
