An example of a typical integration referral would be the beveler and cutoff saw upgrades we recently performed at a site in Tennessee. The customer had older, relay-based equipment that was difficult to maintain, with obvious drawbacks in parts repeatability and high reject rates. By imposing a new control scenario based on current technology, this old equipment now performs at demonstrably higher production rates, with far fewer rejects and reprocessing. We worked hand in hand with the operation and maintenance staff at the site to return a job done with minimal downtime, and a high level of acceptance by the people who work the machines. Referrals alone keep us very busy. We are now looking at various ways to augment our staff. Currently, we bring far more resources to bear on a situation than our size implies by using a network of closely controlled subcontractors. This activity, coupled with solid financial strength built over years of successful work with our vendors, allows us to leverage our capabilities. These techniques, hiring additional permanent staff, and tooling acquisition will help us expand to meet future commitments.
